American professional baseball player Mike Trout plays center fielder for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Los Angeles Angels. Mike Trout has earned nine Silver Slugger Awards, three MVPs in the American League (AL), and ten MLB All-Star selections.

During the 2023 World Baseball Classic, he also served as captain of the American squad. Trout was chosen by the Angels in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draught.

Mike Trout complete his senior year at Millville Senior High School after attending Lakeside Middle School in 2009.

His father, Jeff, was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the fifth round of the 1983 MLB Draught as a second baseman after playing baseball at the University of Delaware.
